What people have to say about Steve Pyatte and his abilities
Steve Pyatte recently spoke to our entire student body. Steve's look instantly captures both students and adults. He expertly uses his uniqueness to deliver a high impact message of personal responsibility and the lasting lifetime effect of choice. His delivery (for 1 hour 20 minutes without a microphone in a gym) is both powerful and authentic. Beech Grove Middle School students and staff extend a great thanks to Steve for the many starfish he threw back on that Friday morning!

"Steve Pyatte possesses a unique ability to drive his point home. From the first words people are drawn to him and are on the edge of their seats. When he speaks, people are transformed into the story that he is telling and depending on that story I have witnessed them high on motivation, reduced to tears as they live the hardship of the person in the story, and everything in between."
Steve "Bullitt" McQueen, Indiana State Representative - Motorcycle Riders Foundation

"Steve Pyatte has been speaking to my driver education classes at
Brownsburg High School for several years. The students really pay
attention to his message. His high energy level keeps their attention and his different personal presentation easily keeps the kids totally engaged for an hour or more. I highly recommend Steve to speak to any group, any time. His message applies to all ages."

Cascade High School was very fortunate to have Mr. Steve "Papaw" Pyatte speak on April 21st (2006) as a part of our prom week activities. He spoke to the students about making good choices and the consequences that result from making bad choices. He spoke to the students from personal experience and from his heart. Papaw is not your typical motivational speaker. He holds the attention of a wide variety of student groups. Papaw was also kind enough to participate in our staff performance later in the day. He made a huge impression on our students the the most positive way.

"I have known Steve "Papaw" Pyatte for many years. In addition to a commanding presence he has a very unique and authoritative voice...he speaks and you listen...because you want to listen. What he says comes from a wealth of experience and you just feel that what he is sharing with you comes from the heart...you sense that he is looking out for your best interest. Papaw doesn't know a stranger and can make an individual or a group feel very
comfortable in a short period of time. He's one of a kind! Papaw is a motivator. I have heard him speak to large groups and he has them in the palm of his hand. By example, he is very inspirational: I know he inspires me and others to be the best instructors we can be."
Steve "Chance" Lacey, Motorcycle Safety Instructor - ABATE of Indiana

"Your work in the community through various fundraising activities (especially those for children with disabilities) is unparalleled and much admired. I also found at the recent Muscular Dystrophy Family foundation Roast N' Toast Gala, that you are very deep, passionate, and extremely funny! My husband thinks you are the greatest teacher in the world."
Judith R. Duncan, President/CEO Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation

"Everyone who meets Papaw for the first time always comes away changed because they really see that you can't judge a book by its cover. While Papaw may sport a biker look he truly is a man who breaks down stereotypes with his sincere dedication, hard work, intelligence, and champion attitude. Papaw is a hero and a role model that parents can actually feel safe having their children look up to."
Bryan Neese, Brownsburg Junior High Science Teacher, Brownsburg High School Strength Coach, 1999 US Strongest Man Champion

"Always looking to help others through training, fundraising, or just a firm handshake and hug, I am proud to call Steve a friend."
John Bodeker, Coordinator Indiana Motorcycle Operator Safety Education Program.

"Steve personifies everything about being on a motorcycle that is part of the American landscape. But underneath the leather and the tattoos is a man with a heart of gold who is not afraid to show his emotions or sensitivity. His substantial efforts on behalf of charitable causes is legendary, but it is more than purely fundraising - it is a personal commitment to making a difference in someone's life. His commitment and his passion for helping others have influenced hundreds of others to do the same."
Dale Neuburger, Indiana Sports Corporation

My thanks go to Steve Pyatte for his time and commitment to the students of Brownsburg High School. Steve was able to find time in his busy schedule to come in and speak with my drivers training course this summer (2005) and he did an outstanding job. The students left with a new realization about their situation, one the Steve was able to relate to with real world examples, his own! I would suggest and recommend Steve to come and speak to any group of young adults, his message was clear and attention grabbing. Thanks again Steve.
